Happy Canada Day-A!
I escorted my Alberta group into the cavernous John's Pizza on 44th Street, wearing my Canadian Flag Cape.
The group seated next to us was thrilled 'we' are Canadian.
A few minutes later they proved it, singing "O! Canada!,"
their national anthem. Both groups stood and joined in song, loudly proudly filling the former Baptist church with patriotic spirit.
Good thing I wore my Canadian Flag Cape.

"New York City with Jared"
Reviewed June 27, 2013
We were very pleased with our tour of New York City with Jared.
His knowledge of NYC, along with his personal experiences – and his great sense of humor – was a perfect combination for our group.
He was great to work with during the planning of our tour and created a day tailored especially for our group.
We received lots of positive feedback from our tour participants and will definitely book with Jared on our next NYC tour. As a group tour planner, I highly recommend Jared.

“An amazing glimpse of NY's Lower East Side...”
Reviewed August 2, 2011
We booked a tour with Jared Goldstein of NY Urban
Adventures. It was a fantastic glimpse into the lives of the Jewish, Italian and Chinese immigrants living in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
We walked and talked for almost three hours and stopped in many restaurants and stores for mini-visits and refreshments along the way. Jared pointed out lots of
interesting places and shared many "inside" stories; he also shared additional suggestions if we wanted to extend the tour on our own.
I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of NYC whether they are native New Yorkers, or not!

Thank you for a wonderful tour of the Brooklyn Bridge, we all learned a great deal about the bridge’s importance not only to New York’s history, but the nation’s as well.
I know the group was very appreciative of your flexibility

We were in good hands with Jared. There were three guests, so it was individualized. Jared brought us next to the sights of New York and the historical background on an informal and interesting way closer - an experience! His secret viewing area of the 9/11 Memorial (and World Trade Center) was very impressive. The end of the tour at the Brooklyn Bridge came much too quickly.

“make the most of your trip”
Reviewed June 27, 2013
Touring with Jared was the perfect way to make use of a small window of time in NYC.
My brother and I were interested in disparate topics (9/11, Jane Jacobs/urban planning), but Jared was able to combine them in a coherent, meaningful way so we could both see what we wanted.
Not only that, but he was really intuitive about picking up on what struck our fancy as the tour was occurring and making on-the-fly adjustments and additions so that the tour was truly custom-made for us.
It dawned on me later that much of what we saw and did Jared was probably doing for the umpteenth time, but you never would have guessed it, so fresh and enthusiastic was his attitude. He truly loves the city and loves what he does, and he's funny, smart, and personable, so it was just such a positive way to make us feel like we did so much in what was only a short couple of days in NY.
Highly recommend, regardless of the size of your group, the amount of time you have, or what your interests are.
